Poetry Form: Acrostic

The state we find ourselves in;
unresolved tensions
ruined by barriers we’ve built
more likely to separate rather than protect,
our heads, fragile things, we want each other,
instead, we remain gulfs apart
lonely instead of whole.

Form: Acrostic
Number of lines: At least 5, therefore you must choose a word that is five letters or longer.
Rules: Acrostic Poetry is where the first letter of each line spells a word, usually using the same words as in the title.
